Chris and I spent an afternoon in Washington DC seeing all the sites. It was HOT but we enjoyed ourselves. All of the buildings and architecture were pretty awesome.

Washington Monument

The White House

One of the highlights of our trip was seeing President Bush's helicopter fly directly over our heads and land on the White House lawn. One of the coolest things I have ever seen. Chris took a bunch of pictures of it starting with the one below right up till the helicopter had landed Chris and I took some time to drive over into Virginia to go to Arlington National Cemetery. It was really cool. We saw JFK and Jackie's graves as well as Robert Kennedy. We then took a walk through the cemetery to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers. That was a pretty neat experience. They do a changing of the guard every 30 minutes and we arrived just in time to see it. The Tomb is guarded 24 hours a day rain or shine.
Jefferson Memorial
The pictures below are of the US Capitol. We only took pictures of the back side of it because it was late in the day, we were tired and hot and we had to get back into Baltimore for the baseball game.

DC looks really cool. It's a city that is very high, probably tops on my US cities to visit list. Your pictures made the push to get there even stronger!
